Special Teaching Facility

Our aim is to provide a safe and caring environment for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties within the framework and ethos of the school. This includes the time before and at the end of school in the taxi area, break and lunchtimes.

Pupils are taken out on educational visits and are involved in a number of sporting/problem solving activities. These include football tournaments, swimming galas, the Gnoll challenge and Kielder. Pupils are actively encouraged to be involved in the wider life of the school. (Click here for photos)

We believe in providing educational opportunities that will enable all our pupils to reach and achieve their full potential. Pupils study courses ranging from Entry Level and ELQ through to GCSE level.
